Robotics is a specialised field. It is the understanding, development and deployment of robots, which are programmable machines or simply gadgets that can potentially replace human beings in performing a variety of tasks by receiving input commands.
Sooner than we envisage, the world will be full of robots. Hence, a good understanding and application of robotics is essential for our schools and students.
At Indus World School, we believe that robotics is the easiest way to teach complex technical and coding related concepts to our students.
Our students find robotics fun, easy to understand and very exciting with various possibilities of creativity and science working together.
With smart phone revolution across the globe, photography has become easy to understand and apply.
Via the photography society, our students learn the fundamentals of photographic composition and the science and art behind lighting. They also learn the fundamentals of using a camera, whether digital or traditional, and gain the technical knowledge of preparing a darkroom.
There are elements of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology integrated in the lessons on photography. Students also learn colour theory and the basics of image processing.
Indus World School Film Club is not only engaged in screening the select movies and documentaries for the students and staff but also conducts training sessions and workshops to teach various aspects in making of a film or a documentary.
Various technical, commercial and art related concepts are discussed and understood in the workshops related to film and documentary making.
